Earl Simmons, also known as Rapper DMX, appears to have once again found himself in financial trouble. He has recently filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection in an effort to save his home. Reports indicate that he currently owes over $2 million. He claims that his only financial asset is his home which is worth approximately $350,000. The majority of his debt appears to be in the form of child support or family support.
Although Simmons is still performing, he claims that he has no funds available in his bank account. Additionally, none of his other possessions are worth any considerable monetary value.
